So your position is that Jesus says churches should protect/harbor murderers, rapists, those who commit child rape incest, and pedophiles as long as they're members of the "church family?" Interesting...

Where are you getting that nonsense? Myself and most all conservatives are proponents of e-verify and punishing the employers severely for hiring illegal aliens.

Yep. Make e-verify mandatory.

Pretty funny. The Christian thing to do is to protect each other.

The Right has a problem.

Many rural churches have large immigrant populations. How does that work when you are fighting your minister or priest over protecting the members or parishioners.

Maybe you will want to see Churches be forced to mark its members in some way so THEY can be found.

Protect clergy members who commit the CRIME of pedophilia? Really? Where is this misguided belief that Christians are supposed to protect/harbor criminals coming from?

See you have a problem. It will be fun to watch as you try to twist this.

It certainly creates a dilemma to those who are willing to obey the laws of the nation and commands of God. When they contradict, difficult choices need to be made.

"Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters."

"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends. You are my friends if you do what I command.

Where does the Bible or Jesus say Christians/churches should protect/harbor known criminals?

I have seen individuals back e-verify and punishment but you never hear about it from the top. The wrong toes would be stepped on and we can't have that.
