Trump won the EC but lost the popular vote by more than three million. The majority of Americans don't want him that is what is being said .
The biggest flaw in your logic, aside from the fact that we don't elect presidents by popular vote, is that the total number of votes that didn't go to either President Trump or the hildebeast exceeds the difference between the two (7,804,213 vs. 2,864,974).
In other words, the number of non-Trump, non-Clinton votes was 2.7 times the margin between the two.
To conclude the will of the people was that Hillary should be elected president, ignores the fact that the majority did not vote for her and that they didn't vote for her because they didn't want her.
Of course we could say the same thing about Trump, but that only goes to show that the popular vote has as much or more to do with the number, type and quality of candidates in the contest as it does the will of the people.

So tired of hearing this! Just under 60% of eligible voters bothered to vote, in fact turnout was seen at a 20 year low. Hillary got 48% of the popular vote vs Trump's 46%, so as a total population, a little over 30% went Democrat while a little under 30% went Republican. That means 40% didn't care, that's the sad statistic of the 2016 election. I think the majority of Americans are saying they didn't want her as their president.

How so? The statement was that "the majority of Americans", the majority of Americans didn't care to vote either way.
