I think our seniors and all of us should brace for the worst. Medicare and social security will most likely be reformed and not for the good. Do you really want our country to hurt like hell?

Don't count on either, if you aren't already taking advantage of one & collection on the other, and have a good decade or two until you "can".
Why would you criticize someone like Lewis who was one of original freedom riders.
Because Lewis doesn't deserve a pass on things he says just because he is a civil rights icon, and who is taking him to task for what he said, whether it is Trump or someone on CD, is irrelevant. Lewis is responsible for what he says, just like anyone else.
If his beef (that concluded in his assertion that Trump is not a legitimate PEOTUS) was that the Russians hacked voting machines and thus interfered with the actual voting, that would be a legitimate beef IF true. But that ISN'T what he is asserting. His beef/assertion is that Trump is not a legitimate PEOTUS because the Russians hacked Podesta/DNC/etc. e-mails and that that ruined Hillary's candidacy . Lewis, and many others among your fellow progressives want to distract away from the content of the e-mails, and instead want people to focus on the hack/that the content was revealed. Ridiculous. If those e-mails had been devoid of the reprehensible content that was revealed, they wouldn't have hurt Hillary at all. The reprehensible composers of those e-mails, and their thoughts and actions that were revealed, in the minds of many, played a big part in unintentionally bringing Hillary down.

I should have also added that not only is who is criticizing Lewis irrelevant, If Lewis is wrong (which he is) re saying something nonsensical, it is irrelevant whether someone thinks Lewis' target doesn't deserve any respect....respect or no respect, what Lewis said is still nonsensical and incorrect. Lewis deserves respect for his contributions to civil rights, but that doesn't mean he should get blind infinite respect re all matters the rest of his life.
