Not a fan of the group anyway and this behavior validates one of the reasons why.
Another self imposed label of importance otherwise known as mamsy pamsy whiners.
The longer the world goes without having to hear from communist supporters, where ever they hail from (Is U 2 even comprised of US citizens?), is another win for Trump.
I read the news today, oh boy
About a lucky man who made the grade
And though the news was rather sad
Well I just had to laugh
I saw the photograph.
He blew his mind out in a car
He didn't notice that the red lights had changed
A crowd of people stood and stared
They'd seen his face before
Nobody was really sure
If he was from the House of Lords.
Sounds like they're reconsidering their choice of what music to include on the album.
It's more likely that the record company folks are having the meltdown, it's a PITA for them to readjust all their scheduling. But U2 can do pretty much what they want, so the record company will have to suck it up.
I like U2 -- but can't see any correlation between an album release and Trumps win. Unless they re-released 'Beautiful Day' with 'President Hillary' related lyrics ... which would be funny... I see it more as a publicity stunt since most Millenials are like "U2 ... who? What?"
My guess is the band felt this would be a way to get some free publicity for the record before the release, draw more attention to it in the same way celebrities are using Trump to get their names in the news. Makes them look like a horse's butt, but I think most aren't bright enough to know that!
Shouldn't we just allow U2 frontman Boner pick our POTUS?
