Can you picture for a moment - if every time there was something said or published that was unflattering to obama, he would resort to a twitterfest of blaming, denigrating comments? If he called every new organization who did that fake, loser, failing... and every individual who crossed him a liar, loser...

What if you, or someone you had to deal with every day in your own life, did that to everyone who you/they thought said anything at all about you/them that you/they didn't like? Do you think that is an adult thing to do? Do you think that would be the least bit productive? Do you think anyone at all in ordinary life should be that way? Probably not... so why do you support and defend it for trump?
Tell you what; let Google or Bing do the walking and type in: Obama blames FOX news.

This is not the first time a President talked out about the opposition or will it be the last time. The only difference is that Trump is using Twitter - which Obama used against Romney in 2012.

He will take office in five days; then give him some elbow room to see if he can really make our Nation even better - that is what he campaigned on. It is not a bad goal.

This appears to be a difficult concept to grasp.

We've been treated to countless posts about how no one is bothered by Jay-Z's sexists lyrics, then throw a three yard fit about our soon-to-be president bragging about grabbing women by the crotch and how they have to put up with it.

This is often followed by "hypocrisy," generally in all caps, and sometimes misspelled.

Sad.

Think about this way: the president has to govern and represent all people in this country. People have a right to free speech and a lot of the people who are free-speeching it are ridiculous fools who have no couth, while some of them are thoughtful. The president needs to allow his citizens to say what they feel. He has professional forums to address some things and he should use them in a professional manner.

One example would be the SNL skits. George Bush was portrayed as an idiot in most of those who couldn't choose his words properly and bumbled simple things. Just go watch some Will Farrell. Do you EVER remember Bush lashing out at Will Farrell and SNL?

For the latest tweet war where John Lewis expressed his extreme displeasure regarding Trump, Trump should have tweeted back something like: I'm sorry that John Lewis feels the way his does; however, my administration will be doing everything it can to address the concerns of citizens who feel we are not on their side.

It's called taking the high road even when it's the LAST thing you want to do. Leaders of countries or other organizations where the leaders represent all have to do this. Trump never has had to because he owns everyone around him.

No... the content and frequency of trump's responses to anything and everything that he feels slighted by is the difference. Speaking out is not the issue, inflamed rhetoric about every.little.thing is the issue. That we are here, arguing over whether or not trump needs to grow up, focus on the stuff that is important, and act like a mature public person... is just sad. And dangerous to the future of this country. Bigly.

The point is, rhetoric is rhetoric. It's what Trump DOES that will be important, as is with any President.

I really think people are so shell shocked at Trump's win, that they're trying to do anything to delegitimize his presidency. And since there were no skeletons in his closet that were ugly enough, they have no choice but to focus on his rhetoric.

So why should Trump be a doormat for every blow-dried, egotistical newsreader? When they report unsubstantiated garbage as news, then Trump should respond in kind.

Oh the HYPOCRISY!

Here is the difference. We are NOT the leader of the most powerful nation on earth, he is going to be. He will be facing issues and criticism daily, and needs to have the internal strength to not lash out at every little problem that comes his way.

Trump is going to be a basket case when he actually starts juggling all the balls a President has to juggle. He thought this was going to be easy, but he is about to find out it is not. If he complicates it all by acting like a spoiled 7 year old, it will drive him nuts. (not a far trip, IMO)

yes, liberals believe trump should refrain from opinion while they gleefully promote their fake news and threaten any entertainer who dares support him.

the left is showing their true colors - and why the socialist and communist parties simply merged with the current democrats

So, Trump should IGNORE being called a RACIST and not the legitimate President?

What kind of a whimp are you?
