I was watching the new Red Dawn movie and got to thinking how fortunate it has been the unlike pretty much every other country we have never really had to deal with being invaded and how so many suffer when one is. But who do you think ultimately suffers more? On one hand regarding men men are by far the most likely to have to go out and fight and die, on the other with women they get captured and turned into sex slaves most likely getting beat in the process, maybe dying later.
Though it is incredibly ironic how so many in Europe are voluntarily letting themselves being invaded by third world people and so far women have suffered greatly.
Sort of depends on who's doing the invading. If we're being honest, the only nations that could invade and have much hope for success would be powerful nations in the West, or countries like Russia and China. It's more likely that they'd not use such draconian methods in warfare, and in this scenario, men could be seen as having it worse as they'd have to invade, though in fairness, this distinction is largely arbitrary. When the Chinese firebomb our crops, men and women both run out of food.
Now, some countries would use such methods. Or rather than a country, some militant groups. ISIS, for example, would almost certainly rape women and children and decapitate non-combatant men publicly as a sign of dominance. That said, an open invasion by ISIS would result in the entire Western world, and quite possibly Russia, bringing the wrath of gods down onto ISIS. This is assuming the US army wouldn't push the enemy out as well. Same with countries that would use such methods.
Luckily, we need to worry. The most powerful armies on Earth are either our allies or know better than to use open military combat and the few that would invade us and use such horrid methods would almost certainly see little to no success.

You're right, I'm just talking in general as it has usually been. As for men, I am talking about those that would be defending against the invaders with guns and whatever other weapons they could get. But when your country is being invaded is there really a "front"? If the bad guys are parachuting all around anyway. Though obviously the younger women and children would be kept in bunkers and safe spaces.

Large-scale paradrops like Market Garden aren't a part of today's warfare. Paratroopers and airmobile infantry are used to secure stategic targets like bridges and essential infrastructure, or to recon enemy territory. It's not like they would abandon the mission and go raping instead.

ISIS has no military capabilities to invade, only terror attacks are within the range of their capabilities. As for Russia and China, a long-time goal of both Countries is to Conquer the US for lebensraum, So I don't understand how you can say they would conduct a "civilized" war.
