Many Politicians have said they have evolved over the last few years, including Hillary. Now Donald seems to be Evolving with new rules for the press core and decisions about NAFTA.

your two primary points are just thrown out with no reference are we to assume Trump passed some new laws regards press core, if so what are they and how are they good or bad?

Trump was told that there wasn’t any chocolate cake for dessert so he chose not to go. Nothing of importance interested him and he doesn’t tweet in public,,, only at 3am when no one is watching over.
More like he wasn't promised that the chocolate cake would be the BEST tasting cake ever, you know our so-called POTUS only wants the best. Ironic 'cus his supporters certainly doesn't expect the best out of him... their standard for him is almost nonexistent.

Nothing has changed with NAFTA. Canada and Mexico told him to get real.
Trump is not evolving. He's pitting his son-in-law against Bannon and thinks the rest of us care how he solves his internal staff problems.
