Yesterday Obama commuted the sentences of over 200 criminals which was a record for any single day.
He also has commuted or pardoned more people than the previous 12 presidents combined. That's taking us back to FDR and 1932.

In fact, the vast majority were drug offenders facing ultra long prison sentences for fairly minor possession charges. Do you remember the TV special where he visited prisons and talked to many of those prisoners?
We incarcerate more people for minor infractions than any other civilized nation, at a high cost to the taxpayer. 330 of the hundreds of thousands is a drop in the bucket, and if it's just minor offenders, why do you really care?

He released several from Gitmo also. Those folks are terrorists.
Some of the "non-violent" offenders pled down to lesser charges. Just because they are serving time for X crime doesn't mean that's all they were guilty of.
If they were truly just possession charges or the like, then I don't have a problem with it.
