I don't doubt that there could be some truth to this. Our education system, our media and entertainment industry, our Political leaders have all bought into the European model of socialism and that view has skewed everything towards big government oversight and people no longer believe in the founding principles of this country. Even "so-called" Republicans.

People are TOO STUPID to know what the hell is good for them, until they start using the benefits even after the fact that they're not paying the full cost... Remember when ACA was first enacted? Everyone thought it was a bad idea including Democrats, now naw it's fine.
So, you are stating that those people said they want the ACA, is that what you are saying? (You do know what the ACA is I hope)

Reading comprehension may be an issue in this thread. Go easy on them.

Polls are about as believable at this point as a drug addicts it's saying they're clean after they made the same false claim 15 times before.

Where does it say they want the ACA that gives them health insurance for which they can't afford the deductibles?
And they can't find a doctor that will take their Obamacare insurance.

public opinion poll are not the same as political polls. In an opinion poll you ask every respondent the same questions and record their answer. In a political poll you try to limit questioning to 'likely voters' as to who they will vote for, but there is always room for error, voters change their minds, or they end up not voting at all. I'm always surprised I have to explain that to adults

Well, if this isn't a fine kettle of fish.

First we find out that Obamacare is actually ACA (who knew?) and now we learn that the Congressional Budget Office estimates that "18 million people would lose insurance in the first year if Obamacare is repealed with no replacement, and 32 million would lose it over a decade. In addition, costs for those seeking non-group insurance would double."

Double? What the hell?

I suspect we will be treated to years and years of quips about the inaccuracy of polls (and yes they did change right before the election when Comey announced that email nonsense) and how everything is "fake news."

You know who buys into polls? Politicians.

After more than 60 votes to repeal ACA, Republicans are realizing that jerking it away without a replacement would be a poor move.
