Racism is not exclusive to one party or side. Ex-adviser: Mayor Fouts often used N-word, danced like a monkey That dude is a Democrat.

To the left, keep that in mind-your party isn't free from bias and BS. You were the party of Jim Crow up until recent history, don't forget it.

To the right, you aren't off the hook just because I'm calling out a Democrat. You got some fixing to do with your practices too. One of my favorite examples: your party asking for racial statistics behind voting practices in North Carolina and then specifically banning practices overwhelmingly used by blacks. I'll link news articles on it in a bit.

Your daily smacking of both sides of the aisle. No one is immune.

Except, history isnt that neat and clean. The truth is the South had a Jim crow problem regardless of party.

And Northern Democrats were entirely different than Southern ones, Republicans too for that matter.

Yeah, but did those northern Democrats disassociate themselves from their racist southern faction? No. Apparently keeping the political numbers was a greater concern.

It's America - racism is embedded in the culture. No one thinks the democrats are the great saviors. At this juncture they better align with my current principles than republicans. It is as simple as that. Slavery didn't end because politicians suddenly cared about human rights for black people.

the only mechanism for kicking someone out of the democratic party is party disloyalty( running as a Republican or independent against a democrat after losing a primary).

And yes, the North did infact disassociate with Southern Democrats and vice versa.

How did they do that? Did the southern Democrats vote for Republican bills and leaders? Lol

"dixiecrat" exists in our lexicon for a reason.

Also, in 1962 There was 1 state wide elected Republican in the entire South. By 1970, they held 6 governorship, 20 state wide offices. The tide turned.

But again, my point is that the South was a political ideology in and of itself.

Try to spin it any way you like, but you can't change history and the FACT that Democrats were the party of slavery and Jim Crow. FACT.
