I don't see how someone why someone who seems to reject the whole concept of public education should be Secretary of Education.

Betsy DeVos is famous for being born the daughter of an owner of a fabulously successful automotive supplier and married to an heir of the AmWay fortune...and for being rabid in her pursuit to eliminate public education and re-route those tax dollars to religious education schools. She's donated a lot of her daddy's and her in-laws money towards the Republicans in an effort to achieve this goal. Her nomination to the post of Secretary of Education is probably the most blatant pay-to-play appointment by the Trump administration.

My school works great. Lots of public schools do. Shouldn't the person literally in charge of public schools acknowledge that?
