It's not what is appealing about Trump ...it's more like what's appalling about Trump!

1. He's not a crook/politician

2. He's not a bar-card holder/lawyer

3. He's a real man and an alpha male, he got big balls and just speaks his mind without regard to feminists/old bitter harpies

4. He's anti-sjw and anti-pc (yuuuuge plus)

5. He's *not* scared of either the left or the corrupt/lying media

Sure you aren't.

To start, you argue like one.

To wit, you make unsupported assertions in an attempt to head off any argument against your thesis as you pose it. That's a premiere SJW tactic.

"X,Y, and Z, so you don't argue that in response to A,B, and C". Completely weak, but an SJW tactic nevertheless.

Trump was obviously more intelligent that any other candidate. That's why he was able to discern and implement the winning strategy and they were not. That's why he is able to successfully think and respond on his feat in a manner that conquered an excessively hostile press and the other candidates when they made low energy attempts to play Trump's game. That's why he he still beating the press at their own game. To call Trump "unintelligent" is the proclamation of the pitifully spiteful, hopeless, and deluded.

His charisma is not debatable. It's another large key to his success. Literally, there wasn't a single other candidate with more charismatic and that's why he was able to even beat them (Jeb!) merely by calling attention to their lack of charisma. Hillary Clinton sounds like she has the beginning of Parkinson's induced vocal issues. Her voice is weak and broken sounding, precluding any ability to sound charismatic. The rest aren't even worth mentioning, as I can barely remember them except for little Marco, who apparently is presently reworking his image from a Necon's simp into a that of the Senator of the State of Spite. Bad look. I mean, I get John McCain. He's going to be too old to serve soon and as such can get away with being openly spiteful. But Marco? C'mon little buddy. You have your entire career ahead of you, assuming that you can pull your image out of the fire. Not smart ball, little Marco.

Not that critiquing Trump's "decorum" remotely resembles a valid critique in this political climate, but to answer your critique regardless: Trump's decorum was appropriate to the press's ever upping the ante in an attempt to silence him. Had he not taken his tone, the press would have won via their excessive and inappropriate hostility. That he didn't allow them their victory is why they and people like you are whimpering over his decorum now. Yes, the bad man yelled at you. Drop the pacifier in the bucket when you decide to exist the childcare facility and join the adult world once again.

The vernacular charge is similarly and unarguably irrelevant.

Again, you come off only as extremely bitter and are adding to the circus of entertainment that the rest of us are enjoying entirely free of charge.

Trump didn't expect to win. There's witness accounts that shows he didn't expect to go past a few primaries. In fact, he never had the passion for the job. It was his sick ego and celebrity profile that he wanted to harness. But the public was too stupid to notice the gimmick.

In my opinion his appeal was that he told people what they wanted to hear. That he was going to make their lives better, even if some of the details didn't really make sense.

Sort of like the guys who used to sell the magic elixir in the medicine shows. Just buy their bottle for $5 and it will cure your rheumatism, grow hair on your bald head, do away with your bad breath, make you more appealing to your spouse and keep the fleas off of your dog. And people would buy it because they really, really wanted to believe that it would work.

"he says the right things"
