Defeat Trump? They still can't accept that they ALREADY LOST. It's going to take a lot more than fairy dust, unicorn farts and liberal tears to get him out in less than 4 years, and they're never going to have it. The way they carry on they'll be wailing for 8 years.
Thursday in New York City at a rally protesting President-elect Donald Trump outside Trump’s New York City International Hotel, filmmaker Michael Moore said, “He will not last the four years.”
Moore said “a malignant a narcissist and a psychopath is in the Oval Office.”
“This a very dangerous moment,” he said.
He added, “We’re going to win folks. A little bit of pain, a little bit of discomfort but a lot of work on our part will stop this man. He will not last the four years. It’s a dangerous combination—a narcissist and a public official. Because it’s all about what’s in it for me, me me me me me me me me. And when they think like that, that’s when they break the law and that’s when he’ll go down.”
No. Elected Democrats are spineless. Obama won by 10 million votes, had a huge majority in Congress, and was going up against the GOP who had absolutely no credibility after 8 years of Bush, and it STILL took them a year to get a right wing originated healthcare "solution" passed. We should have had a bill with a Public Option by August of 2009. There would have been no feeling of malaise. There would be no worries of businesses switching employees to "part time" (38 hours as opposed to 40). There would be no handing of business to scumbag insurance companies. More people would be covered...
...and most of all, any talk of repeal would be laughed at.
It's really sad. I'd love to hear Obama talk candidly about it. I'm sure he'd admit what a disaster trying to reach across the isle ended up being. It was easily the biggest mistake of his Presidency.
The only thing Moore can defeat is a supine cheesesteak.
