I think Washington above anyone else gets it, though. They know you say what you need to say to keep your supporters on your side. It was a clever speech, well-thought-out. Ironically those who voted for him because he was a DC outsider have to realize he is one now.
Of course, now he has to actually do stuff as a follow-up to show he means it to keep that support.
So you don't think that Ryan, McConnell, et al, haven't been spending a lot of time figuring out how they are going to clip his wings once things settle down? His enthusiastic followers may be naive enough to think that he can bully his way getting things done, but does Washington really work like that?
Who goes after him this afternoon on that? I hear it is Congress that has to file the charge, and then the Senate has to ratify it. Is there one specific individual who will file the charge of violating the Constitution on his very first hour in office?
It's really terrible to tell another poster that what they saw, with their own eyes, is meaningless.
This is why people don't like Trump and his supporters.
So thoroughly dismissive of the feelings and concerns of others.
It is meaningless, what she saw does not invalidate that there were thousands of people of color at the inauguration... if you can't figure it, nothing will help you... I don't follow crybaby tantrums with all compassion...
