Let the draining begin.
He has already refilled the swamp.

Trump just took the folks from one swamp (business) and moved them to another (government)

didnt they also say that Reagan's 1980 speech was "the worse ever"?

And please define who judges the speech?

Nothing Trump says will ever please you or many people. I say this as someone who voted for Hillary.

Same issue with Obama, nothing he ever would say or do would ever please a segment of the population.

My opinion is the speech was quite good.

Who cares?

It doesn't diminish the value of the transfer of power. It didn't increase Obama's it won't decrease Trumps.

As Trump prepared to take the oath, the thousands who’d flocked to the Mall extended less than half the distance to the Washington Monument. Attendees reported short lines at several security gates. Morning commuters to Washington talked of nearly empty cars on the D.C. subway.

There's always some ray of sunshine, even during the darkest of times.

Republican presidents usually drive up the debt more than Dems (I did say usually), but they love to cut taxes to lull the voters into compliance.

So, yeah... we will get a goodish tax break over here. We have to keep ours on the high side, but that should be simple enough to accomplish. It's interesting how he's not giving a break to the mid-high range. Well, I guess we need to see what Congress has to say about this.

I'd love for them to tackle the AMT. We get hammered by that one every year.

Obama set a record the first time with good reason. 1.8M won't be broken any time soon.

But, let's put things into perspective:

Obama got 1M or so the second time.
Trump early estimates say 900k which is well above the average.
Clinton had 250k, so he must have been quite unpopular by this lame left spin reasoning.

Trump is liked well enough to be elected, and that's what is driving the left bonkers.
