1) - Transition does not equal inauguration.
2) - How do those who claim that CNN, et al. is "fake news" rationalize this claim when they report the same exact stories as "real" news outlets like Sputnik?
As far as the transition "finishing on schedule," Trump has only managed to "fill" 28 out of the 690 positions that he needs to fill.
Clearly Pence has a different idea of "finished" than the rest of us.

Last I heard he had raised 90M for the inauguration. His team also said they were keeping
it low-key. The tradition is that excess funds are donated to charity. If he raised a record
amount but is having the smallest inauguration in recent memory, I would expect lots
of money to be donated. I hope they have an independent auditor.

More than any other president, and approximately twice as much as Obama spent on either of his two inaugurations.
Keep in mind that this money pays for the balls, concerts, etc.
