Unless you have a crystal ball and can tell me where this country will be in 2021, please tell me how do you know today was a great day?

And to the other side (yeah, you, the left, who lately have made me embarrassed to be on that side) I'll say the same thing - how do you know today is doomsday? And on a side note, nice job breaking things in protest today. Real big of you.

No one has a clue what today means other than one simple fact - Donald J Trump is now officially POTUS. That's it. Not great, not terrible, just a fact today. One can only be judged in the rearview mirror based on performance, and despite some pre-inauguration posturing he hasn't done anything yet.

Only time will tell how great of a day this was in hindsight. I hope I can look back on 1/20/2017 and say it was a great day.

We can only hope to have a better future ahead. Trump was elected because we desperately needed a change from the status quo. The Democrats were not doing anything and the country was going downhill.
Hopefully, Trump can do something to change that. If not he can be replaced also but we need to give him a chance before condemning him. He was not my choice but I do support him until he proves to me he does not deserve my support.
