Because he wasn't. He lost the popular vote. It's not difficult to understand.
Correct but they act as if nobody voted for him. Like the whole thing is a huge conspiracy. He won the nomination out of 17 candidate and went on to win the presidency. They can't admit that he does have support and not all the people that support him are filled with hate or are racists.

1824. Andrew Jackson 41.4%

Wrong.

They won with pluralities.

That means they got more votes than any of the others running.

Trump got elected with a BIG deficit. "Someone" got millions more votes than he did.

Carry on.

Saying someone won 33 States( i think he only won 30 by the way) means nothing.

You only need to win the 12 largest states to become President, so Trump could have won 38 States and lost.

There are more people living in California than in the 13 least populous states combined.

Also More people voted for Clinton than Trump, the majority wanted Clinton.
100% false. The majority (43%) didn't vote because they were served two giant turds on a silver platter.

43% of those who didn't vote is "the greater number" when compared to the 26% that voted for her.

I guess you did not bother to listen to his Address. He is trying to return power to the people.

Matter of fact, no "winner" in history has taken office with such a minority of the people's votes.

But Trump "gets it."

I'm having some difficulty understanding all the angles people commenting are coming from, but perhaps the following would be of interest.

In 1992, Bill Clinton won the election with 43.1% of the popular vote. (In 1996 Clinton won with 49.23% of the vote, still not a majority)

In 2016, Donald trump won the election with 45.98% of the popular vote.

How does this square with your assertion that "no winner in history has taken office with such a minority of the people's votes" ?

I'm having trouble understanding your "fact" here, can you explain please ?

Regarding your other assertion, that "Millions more Americans voted against Trump than voted for him. " I would also add that millions more Americans voted against Hillary that voted for her as well. See below:

Donald Trump - 62,979,636

Hillary Clinton - 65,844,610

Gary Johnson - 4,042,291

Jill Stein - 1,207,141

To me, this looks like 65,844,610 voted for Clinton, and 68,229,068 voted against her.

That post is in regards to more people being at the women's march than the inauguration.

Trump won 33 states....how can that be denied by a popular vote that could have from from 3 states?
Or do people actually thing the Russians hacked those 33 states? I have friends actually believe that he is the Manchurian Candidate.

Edit to say my title said wasn't not voted in but I meant was not voted in.
The real shock from the county-level results is how much of a landslide it was for Trump. If you were just listening to the mass media, you would have been lead to believe the outcome was much more balanced. But as we know, the mass media and firms like Facebook and Twitter lean left.

Therefore, you’ve got to constantly be aware of potential bias and think for yourself.

Oh? And just where is the percentage of eligible voters who vote declared to have any significance? By your logic, in a true democracy, if only 49% of eligible voters vote, the office in question should remain vacant, right?

How can there be such a county-level landslide victory for Trump when Hillary won the popular vote? The answer simply lies in demographics. About half of the U.S. population lives in the blue areas, and the other half of the population lives in the gray areas (shown below).

The left underestimated the desire of people living in the gray areas to want something other than a career politician. With globalization, a lot of people living in the gray areas have not been able to take advantage of the economic boom while the people in the blue area's have profited.
