If there was a rumbling of tension between you and your incoming boss, to include your office being his or her first stop and many of you actually voting him/her in, why should the media care about what side chatter he/she fills time with? If the conversation is between you and your boss, he/she tells you that you will have all the backing and freedom you need to do your job and he says that "we are on the same page", why should media pundits worry of the fact he/she mentions himself/herself a million times on time magazine to lighten the tension? (something he/she did throughout the entire campaign) ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE IN LAW ENFORCEMENT?

While living in DC, I see it all the time where so many educated intellectuals can't understand normal social chatter. It goes over their heads in so many ways... It's so hard for them to shut off that intellectual mindset.

I understand that the democrat/republican elite can be out of touch with small social chatter and only deal with robotic analytics. But when the conversation is between a group of people and their boss, why does the elite feel the need to impose their views onto others? Can't people think and feel for themselves?

I am really starting to understand this democrat groupthink mentality...

They need to adjust to the new normal. They don't like it simply because that's not how it's always been done.

Appearing on national news and lying about the fact that he criticized the CIA and standing before a monument for the deceased while blaming the media for his falling out with them.

No story here, just side banter. The new norm is that he will make stuff up, say anything that comes into his mind and then blame the media for reporting, I understand completely.

Even if you simply accept his lies, you don't have to be an intellectual or a Democrat to listen to this guy and think, 'OMG, this is the president? What is wrong with this guy?'

Trump to the CIA:

"...So, a reporter for Time magazine -and I have been on their cover like 14 or 15 times. I think we have the all time record in the history of Time magazine. Like, if Tom Brady is on the cover of Time magazine, it’s one time, because he won the Superbowl or something, right? I’ve been on it for 15 times this year...."

The former director called Trump's speech "despicable" and CIA agents were texting far worse. It's war between the intel community and Trump and that is not good for America at all.

Why are people critiquing? Because the speech sucked, that's why. I just watched it, all 16 minutes of it. What was his speech about, do you know? Because the only thing I heard was him A. b*tching about the media yet again. B. talking about how many times he's been on the cover of Time. Was there anything, ANYTHING relevant to the CIA, the intelligence community, in that speech? If so, please do point it out. He's a disrespectful child who is totally unfit to be president. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it, they're simply too scared to admit it.

Why are we critiquing Trump's CIA visit?

Because we want our homes bugged and secret cameras installed. Conservatives have nothing to hide. Liberals will be caught sleeping with farm animals but will not be jailed after claiming they were consenting farm animals and they ask for it.

It was also cringe inducingly embarrassing when he started whining about the media "lying" about the size of the crowds. He switched into a high pitched, breathlessly whiny voice, after pantomiming turning the knob of a tv.

Sad.

Trump's visit is the same as any new CEO that acquired a company, this means that layoffs are coming.. I would be seriously looking at a new job or find connections that have solid relationship with the new administration.
