You have to love Fox & Friends for their objectivity, this morning they were defending Trump and complaining the media was attempting to delegitimize his presidency. Completely glossed over the fact that Trump was just making stuff up.

He said there were only 3 TSA agents checking people, and the lines ( which the media doesn't show, of course) were massively long.

Neilsen ratings reported 30.6 million TV viewers for Trump's inauguration, and unknown how many more watched it via internet streaming sites.

Admittedly not the number present at the Obama's first coronation, but no argument there for reasons I previously mentioned. But not playing to empty bleachers like you and yours want to believe.

What part of "live feed" escapes you? The live feed video, which, BTW, means real time video as it's happening, shows large parts of the area empty.

PERIOD!

Does any of this matter at all?

Of course not!

So why are the President of the United States and his press secretary wasting time talking about it?
Because Trump seems to feels that (crowd) size matters.

Maybe he feels the size of the crowd is indicative of the size of one's.....hands.

Only 3 TSA agents to check in the expected 800,000 people?

Guess the Trump team shouldn't have told the TSA Administrator (Peter Neffenger) to clean out his desk on Monday. Well, live and learn.

It is unfortunate so many had to wait so long that they missed the ceremony. From the photos, it looks like a lot of them missed the parade as well.

Alas, the photos of the swearing-in ceremony did not include those waiting in line.

The photos taken looking down from the Washington Monument towards the ceremony showed empty areas as well as sparsely populated areas.

Photos taken from the other end were taken at a much lower angle, which makes the thinly populated areas look fuller. The back area was blocked from view by what I assume were the press tents

We are not talking "alternative facts" here. We are talking about different photos taken from two different directions at two different angles.

There was one entrance on the right, where the majority of protestors were blocking the entrance and were the majority of arrests were made.

In the end, y'all lefties should remember that it doesn't matter how many were there.

What matters is that he was democratically elected and is now our President.

Now, go play elsewhere. See if you can find something else insignificant to fuss over, and come back when you have a difference of viewpoint on a significant policy matter.

You should tell that to President Trump, he's the one that felt this was important enough to comment on.

Lost count of the number of posts telling "lefties" to move along, "fake news," nothing to talk about here, "go play elsewhere," ...

Got to wonder why RW folks are so insistent that others not discuss certain topics.

Those not interested in discussing the topic of this thread are free to find another thread that is more worthy of their interest and intellectual capacity.

I think it is fascinating that the Trump team is making such a big deal of crowd size, insisting that what people observed and what photos documented did not actually occur.

The "alternative facts" is something many of us will be pondering for some time. Just how much of what we are hearing from the Trump team is "alternative facts" and not reality?
