Trump claimed he drew "huge" crowds larger than Obama's inauguration then flipped out when everyone called him on it. Additionally his parade was cut short due to low turnout. And Metro didn't have record breaking crowds.
No one said no one came to trumps inauguration, but his delusions of inaugural grandeur are ridiculous.
Who's saying hardly anyone was there? A few people on Twitter saying that shouldn't mean much.
the amount of airtime, bandwidth, and column inches spent talking about the attendance to a formality is a sign that the republic has fallen. We may as well just build a colosseum and start having people fight lions for entertainment.
Obama had more up front (none of those empty white areas) and it went ALL the way back to the Lincoln Memorial. Trump's peters out before the Washington Monument. Obama's also spilled over to the sides.

Obviously it was not true and the media didn't deserve the response for calling him on it.
This is a long way from saying that hardly anyone attended.. no one is actually saying that.... Well except idiots on Twitter maybe.
