Talking Sunday new conference goes better for Trump

Good

That's one in a row.

Quite a record.

I'm so glad the president has decided to act more presidential today. I'll be more impressed if he is able to act presidential for at least a week straight.

Oh wait, "CNN reports..." They're probably just trying to get a positive mention on his Twitter feed for once.

I realize that but to tell the truth, the guy scares the cr*p outta me. I am relieved to get any hint of normalcy out of him.

So you guys really not understand why CNN just cut him some slack....?

It is to react appropriately. He lies, call him out. He behaves and then you pat his head ..
I mean how else do you train Trump..

Anyway, CNN reports his news conference was much more presidential today. And for all the talk about canceling NAFTA, he said he is renegotiating it not canceling it.

Donald Trump softens tone in Sunday appearance, talks tornadoes and NAFTA - CNNPolitics.com

Hopefully he continues to listen to advisors and cools down the BS rhetoric.
What is lost in all this, especially the press that is obsessed with trying to make Trump look bad is that Trump really appears to be living up to his major campaign promises. NAFTA, OBAMACARE, THE WALL to name three. I agree all the extra tweets and comments do not help but if he gets it done I am satisfied.

Are you starting to learn now? At least you see the strategy.

Remember with Trump, everything is a negotiation and you always start at the extreme end of where you want to get to.

That's why it's so sad to see liberals run around like they are on fire every time Trump says something outrageous.

Everything he says he's going to do will be something different in the end and you will probably find most of it very reasonable.

It looks like the press is behaving better after a trip to the wood shed too.

You know.............reading your post was a bit of a surreal experience. It was measured. It was reasonable. It was non-partisan. The quietness of your post after literally FEELING the hysterics coming from both sides, was very welcome. I haven't even clicked on your link yet. But thank you for your post.
