After saturation coverage that Trump speech was "dark" and demoralizing, we finally find out just the opposite is true. These creatures are truly shameless. They had this "dark" meme for his convention speech which was supposed to sink him. They didn't learn their lesson.

President Donald Trump's inaugural address about "American carnage" and "America first" apparently went over swimmingly with America's citizens. A Gallup poll released Monday revealed that 53 percent of Americans who watched or read about Trump's inaugural address Friday rated it as "excellent" or "good." Just 20 percent said the president's speech was "poor" or terrible."

Tsk tsk. Haven't we learned our lesson? Polls aren't correct.

I doubt it was so much that they liked the "dark" tone of it as they liked that he stayed on topic and didn't spend so much time blathering on about his polling numbers.

They liked the words... I think they were willing to overlook the delivery.

I thought it was creepy as hell. I'm part of the 20%, I guess.

Unless there was a "dumpster fire" category. Because that's what I thought it was. Though, a slightly less bad one than his CIA, creepy super villain speech.

I think the word you are looking for is "alarm."

I didn't find it remotely aggravating. I found it alarming. It sounded like something straight out of the McCarthy era.

People who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

We are never going to get back to one-income blue-collar households with a brand-new house, a nice new car, June Cleaver in the kitchen, and great family vacations in the station wagon with dad's pension supporting him and mom when he retires.

Just not something that is coming back and the sooner people in the middle of this country figure that out and train for new types of work, the faster those areas will rebound.

The "good, old days" were not as good as people like to wax poetic over.

Most people? LOL You must mean most of the teensy weensy 26% of eligible voters that voted for the birther-in-chief.

Sure, like all politicians Trump made promises that he won't be able to keep, but he served notice on the globalists and cultural Marxists and that is a very good thing. Did you see the long faces on the establishment creeps Obama, Hillary and Bush the younger? Priceless.

I think the facts and behaviors evident during and post this election cycle have revealed those qualities for the myths that they are.
