Here is another FACT: Trump got over 300 Electoral votes. Hillary got fewer than 270. Therefore, according the Constitution, Article II, as amended by the 12th Amendment, trump won.
That is a FACT!

Meaningful enough for you to start a silly thread, though?

Neither Trump nor Hillary got the majority of the national vote (45% v. 48%). Bill Clinton's share of the national vote in 1992 was even smaller, only 43%, and he won 370 electoral votes. More of the country voted against Bill Clinton than voted against Donald Trump.
I don't get it either. I learned about the Electoral College in 8th grade Civics and understood it pretty well. There is a reason people in places like Utah and the Dakota's get visits by Presidential Candidates. There are votes to be had in those places that mean something. As it SHOULD be in a REPUBLIC of states.

Just because they are packing like minded lemmings into California does not mean the Constitution should be changed. It's exactly why the genius of the Founding Fathers continues to shine through.

Politicians have to be leaders for all 50 States, not just 4 or 5.

The right prefers "alternative facts."

Counties don't have equal populations, there are almost as many people in Richmond County, NY (Staten Island) as there are in the entire state of Wyoming, and Los Angeles County, CA has more people than the entire state of Michigan. Get it?

Do you consider the rule of the Constitution that we all live by to be "alternate facts"?

And it means absolutely nothing except for whiny crybabies who have no clue of how this country has always worked.

I mean if you want to start counting the popular vote then maybe you'll agree to a basic civics test for anyone who wants to cast a vote. We could turn California into a small state pretty quickly since the vast majority are true blue morons.
