Liberal hero Michael Moore makes an interesting claim about female Trump voters

Quote:
Sunday on MSNBC’s “AM Joy,” liberal filmmaker Michael Moore said that women who voted for President Donald Trump are “victims” of “misogyny and the sexism that is still so prevalent and ingrained.”

Moore said, “I did run into Trump voters. and I asked them, especially — I remember one woman. I said — she was telling me that she voted for Trump. I said ‘Really? in spite of his attitudes toward women and the things that he said?’ And she said, ‘Well, you know, women, a lot of us, we’ve just had to learn to take it over the years. You know, that’s how my dad talked and that’s how my brothers talk.’ And I thought, oh, geez, you know, it was such a reminder of still how far we have to go. I was at this one thing, John Leguizamo, a great actor and comedian Hispanic, he says ‘I’m Hispanic and I always thought racism was our number one problem that we have to deal with, but this election really showed that we’ve ignored the misogyny and the sexism that is still so prevalent and ingrained.’ And Ingrained in many of the victims, the 46% of women that voted for Trump and the 53% of white women that voted for Trump. And that’s — well, that just says that we’ve got more work to do and we’ll keep doing it.”

Michael Moron has never hung out in a women's bathroom or locker room. They talk about "men" the same way we talk about SOME "women".

This is true.
People in general are horn dogs. Doesn't make us sexist or mean anyone is a victim of misogyny or misandry.

I am certainly not a victim and I don't take anyone's private conversation as the whole sum of their character. I bet there are very, very few among us that haven't said or done something in our past that we would rather not be made public.

I am NOT a victim and I am deeply offended that ANYONE would say that about me (generalized, of course).

I really wish Michael Moore would just focus on his own insecurities and fears.

A multi-millionaire male who has made his millions by criticizing capitalism tells me what I feel? That's rich.

He's on the money. Just recalling the few women that I know personally that voted for Mr. Dump and they do indeed fit that mold. Just for starters, one is annoyingly subservient to her unappreciative immature husband and another is the daughter of a mother, who for monetary reasons, stayed married to a childish jerk who is extremely insensitive, despite the fact that both mother and daughter could not stand him.

I'm not a victim either but I'm also not personally offended by what Moore said. He has an agenda that has NOTHING to do with women being "victims of ingrained misogyny and sexism". Those are just buzzwords meant to inflame, and incite.

I would encourage EVERYONE who supported Trump to not get mired in the weeds with all this crap. The words coming out of Moore's mouth (and the mouth of every other high profile moron we've heard recently) are not the same words that are inside their heads. Divide, subvert, distract. THOSE are the words rambling around inside their brains. Don't fall for it. Keep your eyes on the prize.

Looks like Moore's lookin' to get laid. That kind of speechifying worked well in the late '60s early '70s.
