The Obama administration pushed the propaganda that the economy is great, and the average American is better off. The media pushed this propaganda as well.

They are playing on your confirmation bias. Every strong leader throughout history has similar traits, including Hitler, and Mussolini. Some have been good, some have been bad.
We have a checks, and balances that will prevent some authoritarian dictator.

Alternative Facts and saying "I can disagree with the facts" is 100% gaslighting and his admin is doing it as we speak. You don't have to look hard. In fact, you barely have to look at all to see it.
