I've never experienced it myself. I think the closest we came was Brian Mulroney. He wasn't a fan of the media and he let them know, other than that nothing much really stands out.

I guess you haven't really paid attention in the last 8 years, but don't worry, very few liberals noticed the bombs we dropped under a Democrat POTUS. Apparently, those bombs are filled with sunshine and unicorn smiles.
OP, I suggest you turn off the CBC. There is no mad man President in the US now. The US is finally returning to sanity. Maybe in a few years, Canada will get there again too, if we survive Trudeau.
