A funny I read this morning that I hope you too enjoy...

On last night’s Late Night with Seth Meyers, the host joked: “Kellyanne Conway is like someone trying to do a Jedi mind trick after only a week of Jedi training.”

https://www.theguardian.com/books/20...ernative-facts

Funny, but not sure whether to laugh or cry...

Can't imagine why..

I heard "Brave New World" and "It Can't Happen Here" are up as well.

Trying to confuse the public and the issue at hand, by renaming Illegal Aliens as undocumented immigrants, is a perfect example of newspeak.

Seems when someone like Obama gets elected, sales of guns soar. Trump, it's books...

I heard there is a new book coming out titled, "How to Grope a Woman Even if You are not Famous."

Of course, people like Trump wouldn't be interested in a book like that, but the thinking is that a fair number of his supporters might be!

Good, it's a great book and I'm tired of kids not understanding references to it.

Great news. Honestly.

Every citizen in the country should both read and famaliarize themselves with 1984 and Huxley's Brave New World.

Orwellian doublespeak has been part of the government's lexicon for many past administrations, including Obama.
