This is how Hillary ran her campaign, and it didn't turn out well for her. Trump has a wild personality, yet, he made promises and is actually getting things done, and fast.

I believe neither party can hold claim to strict rationality. The cult of conservative/liberal ideology drives everything and everyone, and we don't even speak the same language of moral values. You think the way you think, as a friend of mine is fond of saying.

Thats absurd. Some workings stiffs claim they are voting GOP based on meaningless rants from SJWs and BLM folks which wont change the plight of the working class at all. The working class needs to take back the leverage they have lost to the big money donor class, which means a national health care system, expansion of social security, a higher minimum wage, strengthening of the unions, renegotiating anti-worker trade deals, a stronger public safety net and widely available and accessible retraining programs and trade schools. Not get caught up in rants from SJWs and vote for puppets of the billionaire class that hate the working class and have laughed in their face for 40 years.

Which party is for " anti- worker trade deals"?

And strengthening the unions is not a winning formula. Paying some overpaid blowhard who isn't elected and refuses to listen to the workers while mindlessly giving money to the democratic party under worker protests is a recipe for failure.

Ryan and McConnell just had a press conference at the GOP retreat. They're obviously in sync with Trump and very bullish on the future of America. Afterwards, the FOX talking head was very positive about the policies, so I switched to CNN. Sure enough, it was a split screen with five women led by Carol Costello doing her pursed lips routine and shaking her head in disbelief. All they could talk about was how neither Ryan or McConnell would criticize Trump's tone.

His tone? Seriously wtf. No discussion of policies, just five women all shaking their heads and criticizing Trump's tone. That's the triumph of emotions over policy and that's why CNN gets crap ratings and Democrats will be out of power a long, long time.

You don't have to justify feelings or take ownership of them.

I get it!

You mean feelings and emotions like:

Make America great again.

Oh, wait...

How about "drain the swamp?"

There is only one way to measure a President. After 4 years, is there a measurable change for better or worse that can be demonstrably shown to be due to their actions? Trump is not "getting things done" he's been in office a few days. He does a good job of spinning the idea that he is "doing things" I will grant you that.
