But the blind Denver resident was surprised to learn last fall that “Hamilton” didn’t offer any services for blind patrons to enhance their understanding of the show, like providing a live audio narrative of the action happening between songs.
After trying unsuccessfully to get “Hamilton’s” producers to add such service, Mr. Lasser is suing the producers and the owner of the theater, claiming the lack of accommodation violates federal disability laws.
Even you have to admit this is one dumb lawsuit! So what is every play, movie, or event supposed to do, have audio add ons to make sure an occasional blind patron might need to know what is going on between songs ? How about signers for deaf people ?
This lawsuit will go nowhere, and it does not have anything to do with the cast of Hamilton, just the producers and building owners.

Nice try, though.
I agree. It is happenstance that Hamilton is being played in the theater. It could well have been the play "Mr Trump Goes to Washington".
I rather think, if I recall from the provisions of the Americans With Disabilities Act, that some older venues were exempt, such as older theaters and historical sites.
The people who find delight in this have no principles. The only wish to punish their perceived enemies.
