He seems to care a lot more about the black lives of people being killed in Chicago than Obama !

That's plain silly. No adult would ever consider drivel from the mouth of an entertainer and known liar to be fact....or, even in the rare case of facts and follow through, it would only be the RESULTS that mattered.
Just finished a book about Chicago in the 20's. Run by Republican. Murder Capital of the country and wickedest place in the US (as they said). All the gangster killings, machine gunning, etc.
It's difficult to be sure about the real agenda, but it looks to me like BLM wants the black community to be free of law enforcement.
Not all law enforcement, only the "western-prescribed" law enforcement. Your (our) law is not Theirs. (Honestly, these "philosophies" amaze me every day!)
Now, I begin understanding that what we call "black on black" crime is not so terrible. It's an "alternaive" kind of law enforcement, not the "western-prescribed" law...As such, it should be accepted.

Good for Trump setting a strong tone early on. I'd like to see the drug war end and drugs at least decriminalized as well.
But at least he is setting a strong tone early like a new NCO taking charge over new troops. He ca get nice later. If you start off nice people will drag butt, test you, ignore you, and not take you very seriously.
At minimum this will light a fire under the ego a$&es of the Governor and more likely the Mayor. To protect their image, legacy, and political careers they won't want to have the failed state or city that the President had to send Federal troops and Federal agents into.
That's why when you take over a new platoon, company, or city, state, or country you can't come in like everybody's f---ing buddy. Everyone will drag butt, when you want something done in a day they will take 6 months to do it. You can't be everybody's buddy, the students councilor hugging everyone, in Chicago when you're sitting in DC and want dramatic downward changes in the violence in Chicago like yesterday. You can be friendly and hug the old grandmothers of Chicago or the bullied kid. But you need to be tough on the man under your charge in office in Chicago. The mayor.

Thanks for paying all white people for the work of black business/orgs. All we got was protesting and marches. Oh, and leaders who couldn't even mobilize their demographic.
