So it looks like Trump has already developed a list of projects that he intends to begin working on during his time in the Presidency.
"The projects have to follow four criteria to be approved, according to the report: address a public safety or national security emergency, have 30% of the design and engineering work complete, create jobs directly, and have the potential to increase US manufacturing. "
“They seek examples of priority infrastructure projects that might be incorporated into a future infrastructure investment program,” said the letter from the governors’ association, dated Dec. 16. “Specifically, the transition team is looking for 3 to 5 project suggestions from each state that they would vet for inclusion in a new program.”
The list ranges from roads & bridges, waterways, airports, energy, mass transit, and some other areas.
I wonder why this isn't being discussed..... this would potentially benefit every state in the country and provide much needed improvements to infrastructure along with creating thousands of jobs.
Some of the cost will be absorbed by Government budget while some will be financed by private institutions. For example, the Kansas City Airport needs improvements and Southwest Airlines amongst other airlines have agreed to split the $1B cost to finance the project.
Bernie Sanders Calls Trump's Infrastructure Plan A Scam And Corporate Welfare
“Trump would allow corporations that have stashed their profits overseas to pay just a fraction of what the companies owe in federal taxes. And then he would allow the companies to ‘invest’ in infrastructure projects in exchange for even more tax breaks,” Sanders wrote. “Trump’s plan is corporate welfare coming and going.”

Better to get the money from the Federal Reserve. Force the Fed to loan the necessary money at 0% interest and pay it back slowly. Something is better than nothing. Get the tax money by taxing flash trading a sales tax. Bernie needs to think outside the box, not inside it

The A team is in the White House. People who have spent a lifetime making things happen. A far cry from the bureaucratic race hustler that shamed the country into voting for him. A man disgusted with most Americans.

Absolutely disgusting how Mr. Trump finds ways to help billionaires at the same time he wants to take access to free and low cost birth control away from poor women and men.

Before you drink the Kool-Aid...... that was a statement made by Bernie Sanders with zero evidence to back it up. If I were you I would do my research prior to deciding which outlet to take.
On a side note... who do you think owns the companies that will hire the employees to do all of the work? Billionaires. That's how this works. Billionaires WILL be involved. If you don't want that, then the Government would have to become a business, and the Government is not supposed to be a business.
Brent Spence Bridge (I-75 Ohio/Kentucky border)
Locks & Dams on the Ohio River
15 different bridges over I-95 in Philadelphia
Repairs to i-95 in North Carolina
A 720-mile electric power transmission line from Eastern US to the Plains
Electric hydro-power plants on major US rivers.
Obama had a big infrastructure investment too. I remember driving through several of the road construction areas and saying "Thanks Obama" for the resulting traffic. Had plans for more that kept getting blocked by congress.
Just more nonsense about who is for what based on who is in power at the time.

A new day has dawned in America. Hallelujah!
Running bogus universities, failed casinos, stiffing contractors, making things with cheap Chinese labor to sell at inflated prices in the US,compulsive lying, name-calling, serial adultery, keeping many lawyers busy defending against hundreds and hundreds of lawsuits, etc., etc., etc.
Yeah, a real proud day for America.
