...rather than trusting the media.

House science chairman: 'Get your news directly from the president' - CNNPolitics.com

"The chairman of the House Science, Space and Technology Committee is asking Americans to trust the information they get from the President over the news produced by the media.

Republican Rep. Lamar Smith saluted President Donald Trump from the floor of the House on Tuesday evening, rattling off his first-week accomplishments but saying Trump is not getting the press coverage he deserves.

"The national liberal media won't print that, or air it or post it," Smith said. "Better to get your news directly from the President. In fact, it might be the only way to get the unvarnished truth.""

Thanks, Representative Smith. Hard pass, though.

I'm sure he got his marching orders from Trump.

See who is marching.
Quote:
A movement by scientists to march on Washington as a protest against the Trump White House's treatment of science has gained traction, with more than 115,000 supporters joining a Facebook group for the cause.
The move follows a slew of measures from President Donald Trump that scientists and policymakers have said could undermine science and its role in society. "It is time for scientists, science enthusiasts, and concerned ci tizens to come together to make ourselves heard!" organizers wrote on the page.

I don't know about getting news directly from the president, but it has been proven that we cannot trust the media. What to do??

We should trust the president who stated that there were 3-5 million illegal voters that voted for Hillary, the Russian hacking is a witch hunt and there were over a million people on the mall for his inauguration.

We now need to go to him for the alternate science news, those damn scientists just cannot be trusted.
