He is saying that if US/Mexican relations break down further they will simply strengthen their ties to Guatemala and Central America. So in his opinion it will be no big deal. Guatemala and Central America will easily step in and take on the sugar daddy role the US has been playing for so many years.
we should not, nor should we want an adversarial relationship with Mexico. Mexico needs all her neighbors just like we do.

A "neighbor" that harms our national interest is something that we have to be very cautious about.

Why do drugs and illegal immigrants cross the border from Mexico?

Is it because Mexico pushes them?
- or is because Americans like using drugs and hiring cheap labor?

Why do contract killers assassinate people?

Is it because THEY have a problem with their target?
- or is it because someone else paid them to do it?

In my book BOTH parties are responsible, in both scenarios.

How about the cost of the looter-in-chief sitting in the White House - his 6 bankruptcies cost taxpayers and investors $5 billion. Time for him to pay up.

Americans who love cheap labor are paying coyotes to transport people across the border nor are they paying the illegal immigrants to cross the border... Drugs on the other-hand are pushed by the cartels across the border whether American wants it or not...

sometimes you have to be cautious of even your own family members. we need both northern and southern neighbors. the US has always moved forward with Mexico. no good can come from shutting down against one another.
