If she were an independent artist, I'd side with you on that, but as an art TEACHER, she has much more social responsibility with the actions she takes.
Edit: Also as an art TEACHER she is paid by the tax payers, political opinions should be out of the picture here.

As long as she doesn't base a students grade on agreeing with her, art is OK with me being taught in art class.
