Exactly. It's a 120 day moratorium so they can sort things out and get a better vetting process in place. It is not a "ban" on Muslims, although it should be. Islam is not compatible with our Western culture. You only need to look as far as France and Germany to see what the Muslims are doing over there.
Germany is having its regrets with allowing so many refugees into their county and now wants to deport 100,000 of them. There is something to be learned from that. It would be more prudent to be safe than sorry, but the liberals in this country don't see the reasoning in that.

Liberals support anything that they perceive as a threat to America -- particularly white, Christian, law-abiding America.
Because Saudi Arabia has an effective government and security apparatus. We can properly vett people coming from there because their government keeps records. The countries he chose have no effective government at all right now, no where to check records to properly vett refugees.
My preference, though, is that they simply be removed from the country.
There's no reason to have them here, and a boatload of reasons not to have them here.
Why? There are plenty of US citizens here who are Muslim. They have every right of a US citizen. If they commit a crime, they go to jail. Otherwise, they are free.

Their religion is poison. It is anti-other religions, anti-democratic, anti-personal freedom, anti-women's rights, etc. It does not fit into a free, democratic society that respects human rights and liberties. It follows that we cannot and must not have committed Muslims in our midst. Serious Muslims divide the world into two "houses" -- the house of Islam, and the house of Jihad. In the house of Jihad, non-Muslims are made to submit ("Islam" means "submission") to Muslim domination. Which means you either become a Muslim, pay a tax for being an infidel, or die by the sword.

I know plenty of Muslims that are not like that at all. Especially those growing up here. They will eventually moderate as our Pilgrims did. But going completely against the Constitution is not going to help that happen. What you propose is just not right.
First they came for the Muslims, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Muslim.
Then they came for the gays, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not gay.
Then they came for the poor, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not poor.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
