Four months of tariffs paid by whom? The US consumer.

Are you people too thick-headed to realize that tariffs are taxes?

Sean Spicer: Trump considering 20% tax on Mexican imports - Business Insider

Yep, the claim about Mexico paying for it was a lie from the beginning. Now that he is in office, the truth comes out, which is that US Citizens will pay for it, and even when the wall is done, we will continue to pay the same tax. This is not a temporary tax, but a permanent one.

Unfortunately this tax hike is only the beginning, a much bigger one is on its way with China.

The whole wall agenda seems to be nothing but an excuse to impose a massive tax hike.

I can only hope, and pray Congress puts an end to this madness.

The current number of illegals coming into the US from MX is at a FORTY YEAR LOW.

Physically tall and expensive wall is STUPID technology. Drones, stationary 'eyes' in the sky....cheaper and smarter. OK...hire more agents, that's a good thing...let them watch monitor these surveillance devices. Work smarter, not harder.

Yes, US taxpayers and consumers will pay for a big fat stupid wall conceived by a big fat stupid jerk. Mexico is nearby....cost to ship to US is far cheaper than anywhere else on the planet. Even with the 20% added on, they will still be cheaper than imports from China or S.America....but more expensive to US consumers than they are now. These goods (car parts for cars) are already manufactured in MX in existing plants. Not easy or cheap for another country to build a new plant, new machinery, training, etc that goes into a new facility.

Need an economist on the Trump team.

Utter BS! Illegal immigration from south of our border is at a 40 year low? As for the dumb, stupid wall....

You'd rather pay the $113 billion that illegals cost us than a $25 billion wall?

I'm already getting the shaft from the illegals that are here, so the soon the wall is built, the better off I'll be in the future.
