Ehm - it wasn't Democrats who hung teabags from their hats and marched in the streets for fiscal responsibility. Where are those guys now?

I think you are referring to a previous VP...

Cheney to Treasury: "Deficits don't matter"

Former Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill was told "deficits don't matter" when he warned of a looming fiscal crisis.
Dick Cheney on Budget & Economy

Actually, the entire world is running on a deficit.

10 trillion added to the national debt under Obama (double what it was this time in 08) and NOW the left is concerned about the deficit. You can't make this stuff up.

They traded their teabag hats for red baseball caps made in China.

How much $$$ in damages due to vandalism was there? Compare that to the "protest" of the left.

I have no problem with deficit spending as a policy tool.

I am just wondering where the teabaggers are. What happened the GOP fight for a Balanced Budget Amendment? Got distracted?

Nope. I never met a Democrat who didn't think all our problems couldn't be solved by raising our debt limits and taxing everything in sight. And you know it.

And ignoring the lousy economies that right wing POTUS's leave behind just further shows how biased your posts are.

Hmm. Weird. I clearly remember the 'baggers insisting theirs was a broad alliance fighting a principled fight on the grounds of fiscal responsibility across party lines.

Now you're telling that was just a thin veneer covering a partisan effort to get an R elected, and they don't care about deficits any more? So disappointed. It's to despair.
