Too many big words and not enough pictures for ya?
I am not interested in reading verbal diarrhea from someone who admits not to even knowing who May is...or the one who tried to make a non story in to a story about pledges of aide for a storm, or the many, many other times that poster has been embarrassingly wrong. Nowhere in that article did it state that Trump was scolded in to behaving...it's all someone's fantasy that they decided to try to put out there as fact.
That's not what that article says at all. Don't know how you got that. Maybe you don't understand what happened.
1. They had an in-person meeting scheduled.
2. Prez of Mexico intimated that he was rethinking whether that mtg was a good idea.
3. Trump did a tweet that maybe it WAS better not to have a mtg. (sounds like a macho thing he's doing)
4. Prez of Mexico publicly cancels the mtg.
Result: Trump messed up our good relations with one of our closest allies, and on whom we rely for millions of jobs. First time in recent history. One thing Trump did was publicly tweet a communication, rather than a dignified, respectful private phone call.
Relations had thus ceased. Communications of any sort ruined by Trump.
So Trump was talked to by experts and it was 'splained to him that he needs to reconnect with Mexico. We need good relations with our close ally. We definitely need to be able to communicate with Mexico.
So....
5. Trump makes a private phone call to the Prez (which is what he should have done before, instead of a tweet), and they talk for an hour.
Result:
Communications are now restored, after Trump apologized and behaved like a President. Trump now agrees that he won't be tweeting or making public statements about his and Mexico Prez's communications, unless they both agree.
The Mexico Prez's statement is identical to Trump's, except that he explicitly states that their communications regarding "the wall" is not to be publicly discussed. Making it clear to Trump what the parameters of the agreement are, so if Trump breaks the agreement, this was made clear and Trump can't claim he didn't realize that.
Trump hopefully will behave more like a President, now. You don't tweet things about foreign leaders. These aren't companies. He's not in Kansas, anymore.
Trump is in school...learning how to be a President. Although anyone with common sense would know not to publicly proclaim or comment on any meeting or communication with a foreign leader, unless agreed to by both.

Mexico refuses to help prevent illegals from their country to pour into here and refuses to help fight the cartels, screws the US on trade and now they are taking a hissy fit because there will be tariffs imposed on them. Their vacation is over, payback is a b*tch Mexico.
Mexico has no power of negotiation, so they either embrace the suck or fall behind..
I wonder how Mexico is going to frame it... NAFTA renegotiation fee? Or will he funnel the money via a third party, Brazil drops 15 billion into American infrastructure fund... don't matter I guess, bill PAID!

They know that they do not need to as the American chump taxpayer will...one way or another and the thing is we do not need a ****ing wall but someone's construction company needs some extra cash.

Maybe, no they have not agreed to any such nonsense. I like the twist, can you even do it, better learn, the first step is to learn how to make up excuses and then support the ever changing position of you girl.

The GAO reports that 68% of the 55,000 foreigners in US prisons are Mexican nationals.
In total, foreigners make up more than 25% of the US prison population.
I am sure Mexico would be glad to have them.
