Considering most of these attacks have been committed by Americans (even former military), your fear is pretty unfounded and on top of that the odds are 1 in 20 million or so.
The knee jerk crap is what got us TSA, Patriot act and other big government. All because pin heads don't understand math and are scared of essentially nothing.
Let us not forget that 911 as it happened would never happen again as the people on the plane simply aren't going to sit there and be held back by box cutters.
You fools will give away your rights and due process for nothing in return. All because you are scared old idiots that get shaken up by all the world news getting blasted in your face after decades of not having it.
You're ridiculous as is the ban. It was the equivalent of killing a moth with a flame thrower in your house and the consequences to people that are good, law abiding and already went through the process of immigration get stuck holding the sack of crap. Who cares though because religion.
People are seriously stupid.
Are you trying to argue that those people were NOT of Middle Eastern descent?
By the way, the OSU attacker was a Somalian refugee.
It's so laughable you people forget the history already of the United States. We've been here. Done this already. And it was a mistake almost every. single. time.
Millions of Americans enjoy things like Bing Cherries, which was invented by none other than a Chinese immigrant Ah Bing. The crop is even worth close to a billion dollars every year. Ah Bing went home to visit China, but because of the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882, Mr. Bing was never allowed to return to the United States.
We also banned Asians from immigrating to the US until 1965, purely for racist reasons.
And now we're doing the crap all over again, because of peoples' irrational fears of some veil wearing Muslims. This is even from Fox News:
I'd like to point that out to liberals. It appears that a couple liberal mayors and governors have incorrectly stated that a Muslim iimmigrant/refugee ban is unconstitutional. Now I see a bunch of my liberal friends on Facebook repeating the mantra.
Rights of Americans do not apply to non-Americans. Simple as that.
This is like the same argument where liberals believed that captured Al Qaeda terrorists from other countries should be entitled to a lawyer and trial.
Also it is amazing to me how liberals hate religion -- unless that religion is Islam, in which case they rush to defend it.
If the same decision was made against Jews, would you even bother having the same attitude?
But it's not a "Muslim" ban. It's a temporary ban on "all people" from specific countries. Thus, not unconstitutional. In fact, Obama did the exact same thing.
Yes, the Trump EO stops the refugee application process.
But that's not all Trump's order does. It also abrogate the rights of people who already have green cards and visas, with no warning. Which is a couple giant steps further. It's incredibly unfair. Very poor advertisement for american ethics and values.
You're wrong... it is unconstitutional to punish an undocumented person for committing a crime. And it's racist. Love Trump's hate okay. We owe it to these people because Americans have stolen from everyone.
Enough with Trump. Resist! He will not Divide us.
Incorrect. Our laws are for our own people, not for our enemies to use against us. You don't get American rights until you become an American. This is why we did not try enemies in American courts until the idiot Obama starting pushing for it. Our enemies would use our system of justice against us in order to bind our hands.
