You need to start a new thread, if this is what concerns you, rather than hijacking this one. Thank you.

I actually don't think Trump is capable of distinguishing the nuances of who belongs to which religion or ethnic group. I think he just doesn't like "them", no matter who "them" is at any given point.

Like Trump, I am the descendant of german immigrants. German immigrants have been "them" more than once in this country's history. You'd think he would have learned what's wrong with this. I'm not the first person to observe that he doesn't seem all that smart.

That may be so, but moving forward he's not changing anyone who opposed his Presidency's mind with actions like these.

Like Iraq?

They knew this was going to happen, did they think Trump was lying?
No one knew Trump was going to bar Legal Permanent Residents from coming home.

So, why are people opposed to Trump opposed to securing the borders, being skeptical of immigrants from countries which sponsor terrorism and renegotiating trade agreements to create a level playing field for domestic industries?

I don't need luck. American voters can see the truth very clearly and are increasingly rejecting the left's lies and foolishness. The left has been increasingly losing local, state, and federal elections since 2010.

By all means... Double down on the lies and foolishness. The left still has more to lose.

I love what Trump is doing, but he should have made an exception for those he stranded in our airports. That's just not right! This is what had me worried about Trump from the beginning. He may know real estate and business, but he's got a lot to learn about everything else. He needs to slow down and take some deep breaths.

He doesn't have to. You have to change the minds of those that support him. You aren't doing it with name calling and hypocracy.
