Regardless of him staying or losing, he and his supporters will spin it so that he comes out looking good. "We were being too obstructive, we were focusing on fake news, etc." They'll spin their lies till death.....which will probably come for them sooner than later should he remain in office ironically.
I'm guessing that he will want to split before they hold his feet to the fire. Then, he will make it appear that since he is "being denied the opportunity to make things great"...(or some such nonsense), that he "will no longer hang around to be mistreated". Just wait. Look at the BS he stated today, in defense. That's all he does. If they otherwise have to remove him, I envision while they haul him off, his saying stuff like "But...I had the largest crowds..!!"
