Canada will not take in any of these people. This is just a feel good knee jerk. They are VERY selective about who they let into their country. Hell a misdemeanor in the US can get you banned there for life.
America is the moral superiority. We are a melting pot who accepts everyone. Immigrants are the foundation of this country. The majority of crime in the US is because of US citizens not these migrants you speak of
