I am like you, I think Melania is very unhappy, deep inside. There does not seem to be much warmth between the two of them, and she truly seems a little intimidated, and maybe a little afraid, of him. When he gets out of the limo, for example, most men would wait for their lady and escort her to where they are going. Not Trump, he gets out, walks away, and lets her walk by herself behind him.
The pictures of them at the inauguration were very disturbing, especially the one where she was smiling, but he turned to her and said something, and her facial expression turned to sadness. Even when they are being interviewed, she rarely gets a word in edgewise, and just sits there quietly.
She is, by all accounts a very devoted mother to her son, and that may be the reason she is hanging in there. I am sure Trump has her locked up in a binding pre nup, so she would probably leave penniless. I hope her life gets a lot better, once she stays in NYC and he goes off to wherever.

No, any of us who have been in a romantic relationship know how a man and woman relate to one another when they care about each other. You don't need a PHD in love to see the contrast between how Obama and Michele look at each other, touch each other, and stand near each other, and how Trump and Melania are only going through the motions.
I've been in numerous relationships and never treated the lady I was with like he does. They are very distant and cold toward each other. She seems to put on a better act than him, but he looks like he has total disdain for her.
