They didn't all fly in from their home countries.

Why couldn't he wait until they developed these new procedures, I would love to know what they are going to do that isn't being done already particularly refugees since they have gone through several levels of screening over years.

Why are they worried about Iran and not Saudi Arabia, this makes no sense. There was not one terror attack from any of those countries, so how did they come up with that list.

If they are thoroughly vetted and all background checks clear then within reason they would qualify for a visa. Sorry but they are not so special that they should be able to bypass the same vetting that others need to go through. And I feel they need to make it harder at the moment for all muslims until they can find a way to correctly get an honest background check from them. I don't see how any of these desert ****holes even have any records of anybody so unless something can be found to show they are not dangerous, terrorists, etc... they don't need to be allowed in here. Why do we need to let every body in, no matter their background? We have our own people to worry about. I'm not against immigration at all, I just want anybody coming here (tourist or possible resident) to be vetted and checked out thoroughly. What is wrong with that!

Agree. There have been so many Executive Actions in such a short time signed by a man who has no government experience, that we should have expected a lot of chaos.

Too bad for you. Conservatives ONLY care about unborn fetuses. The lives of adults - not so much.

The half hazard thing going on here is what the West, especially Europe, is doing. Do you think we have forgotten the slaughter in Paris and Berlin? Do you think we have forgotten Florida? It is not even a criticism of Islam. Its a criticism of our our process. Until see it actually vets people entering the country it needs to stop.

1. People need to keep in mind that this is not a "Muslim Ban". It only bans people of certain Muslim dominate countries.

2. Was Trump advised to do this by the FBI and other security experts? If not then I don't think he should have taken this action.

I'm not so sure the travel ban was signed without any thought. Trump's entire campaign was based on fear and bigotry. I mean, the birther movement was to create fear in those who believed President Obama was our enemy. This is why President Trump keeps mentioning 9/11 and why I heard Kellyanne Conway today refer to 9/11 several times when defending this travel ban. Yet, as many have already stated, none of the 9/11 terrorists were from any of these 7 countries and no Americans have been killed in the U.S. by citizens from any of those countries in the past 20 years. Why is Iraq on the list, but not Afghanistan or Pakistan?

I agree this is very sad, but what's inspiring is seeing all the protests. I was just watching crowds in Dallas cheering people who were being released at the airport and the scene brought tears to my eyes. If nobody was protesting, then I would be a lot more worried, but just looking at the huge crowds gives me a lot of hope.
