More continues to be revealed about Cambridge Analytica and SCL Group's political work around the world. The focus of this article is Southeast Asia.

It's a balanced look, with experts weighing in on how much influence SCL might (or might not) have had. The information about what SCL Group did comes from SCL Group internal documents so it is not speculation. Regardless of how you feel about CA's role here in the U.S., this is a fascinating look at how technology is being used by governments and political parties to sway social and political behavior.

From Indonesia to Thailand, Cambridge Analytica’s parent influenced southeast Asian politics

Are you claiming that people in California aren't Americans and their votes don't matter as much as say those in Pennsylvania?

The idea that this Cambridge Analytica social media campaign didn't sway votes is silly.

If advertising didn't change people's behavior, the SuperBowl would not be getting $5 million for a thirty second commercial.

Why didn’t Hillary’s billion dollar campaign and 99% of the media, and the Obama administration and celebrity surrogates fight back against it?

How long are you going to be bitter and cry that the election was somehow “stolen†from you?

I was addressing the question.

How did they affect your vote?

So, now things are getting very interesting.

Reuters is reporting that an associate of Nigel Farage was subpoenaed by Mueller to testify https://www.reuters.com/article/us-u...-idUSKBN1H61PW

Nigel Farage has also been called a "person of interest" in the Mueller investigation case.

Farage led the Brexit vote, and his name has been connected to the UK parliament's investigation into Cambridge Analytica's parent company's possible manipulation with that vote.

Farage also has links to the Mercers.

He also has links to Julian Assange, of Wikileaks fame. Wikileaks, of course, is suspected of hacking into a major political party's email system during the U.S. election.

So, from the subpoena issued today, it's increasingly clear that the U.K. parliamentary committee investigation is probably sharing information with the U.S. DOJ investigation.

Another thread has been started on the person subpeoned today (link below) but because of this news, I will continue to post additional information about SCL Group and Cambridge Analytica, and the possible connections between their roles in other elections in other countries and the U.S. election here.

Certainly, this may all turn out to be nothing. But, there are too many overlaps not to keep discussing and following this as new information surfaces.

Link to the other thread on the subpeona Mueller has issued: //www.city-data.com/forum/polit...lloch-who.html

Just want to add another article about the links between Farage, Cambridge Analytica, Nix, and Julian Assange. This comes from the UK Guardian and was published last year.

https://www.theguardian.com/commenti...nholy-alliance

From that article (again from last year):

That day, we learned that Alexander Nix, the CEO of Cambridge Analytica, the controversial data firm that helped Trump to power, had contacted Julian Assange to ask him if he wanted “help” with WikiLeaks’s stash of stolen emails.

That’s the stash of stolen emails that had such a devastating impact on Hillary Clinton in the last months of the campaign. And this story brought WikiLeaks, which the head of the CIA describes as a “hostile intelligence service”, directly together with the Trump campaign for which Cambridge Analytica worked. This is an amazing plot twist for the company owned by US billionaire Robert Mercer, which is already the subject of investigations by the House intelligence committee, the Senate intelligence committee, the FBI and, it was announced late on Friday night, the Senate judiciary committee.

Yes---the alt-right believe that California is more a foreign country than Russia

Saw this thread on the Elections forum but has specific info related to CA and it's illegal actions in US elections
The woman says during the taped portion that CA had the ABSENTEE ballot info before the election was over and votes released...
If that's not hacking an election, you aren't paying attention...
