ONCE AGAIN, this is not a partisan issue. This is a legitimate privacy issue. Everyone, regardless of their political leanings, should be concerned. Privacy is essential for freedom.

No doubt, but once again, the left is saying it's wrong, while they did do it prior....now, tell me, what should be done?

Digital analysts predict this will be the first election cycle in which Facebook could become a dominant political force. The social media giant has grown exponentially since the last presidential election, rendering it for the first time a major campaigning tool that has the potential to transform friendship into a political weapon

It’s also no secret that they work through different entities. We already know that the parent company of Cambridge Analytica, SCL group was getting federal contracts thanks to our current president. Bannon was a leader of SCL, and Michael Flynn was an advisor of SCL and Rebecca Mercer was the co-owner. Funny how the same characters keep coming up all the time.

This is just starting...
its also a FACT that the Obama team used Facebook and Google data to create the most massive database ever. Its a fact that the Google people were in the Obama Whitehouse for the full 8 years
it is also a fact that Facebook told the Obama people they let them do things no one else was allowed to do because "we are with you"

and you don't care. Obama's team used such data to full effect yet now its all evil because TRUMP.

I have things to say to you that are well outside the TOS on City Data. What I can say is you are a duplicitous entity who deserves to be called out for the half truths (whole lies) you are spreading.

PS the Mercers support of Trump pales in comparison to the money George Soros poured into the Obama campaign. You know... the guy that purchased coal mining and fracking companies for pennies on the dollar after their valuations collapsed after Obama announced he was going after them.

your side is FULL of dirtbags. so to avoid the truth getting out you toss your dirt on people who did NOTHIGN WRONG.

back to the TOS on City Data. let your imagination run wild. you disgust me with your hypocrisy and duplicity

This isn't a partisan complaint. This is a complaint about a violation of privacy. Privacy, if you don't know, is fundamental to freedom. If you don't have privacy, you don't have freedom. So when people's privacy is violated, it is an issue. Not a partisan issue. Just a simple, straightforward issue.
oh bull!

No one complained when freaking facebook and google were PARTICIPATING in the Obama campaigns HELPING HIM build a database using that exact same data.

This is about TRUMP. it is NOT about TRUTH.

I will say Donald Trump must be the third coming of the Lord himself because all by himself the man has caused Democrats to believe MORALITY IS A THING.

your hypocrisy is only exceeded by your hubris. (by "you" I mean All-Y'all)

I wouldn't go so far as to say that Cambridge Analytica, with personal information illegally got, ultimately on its own won the election for Trump. Same goes for the Russian campaign effort to support Trump. There is no question however that they were a contributing factor in his electoral college victory.

Yep.

The Kremlin connection to this outfit is a key part of this puzzle.

19 pages of nonsense. The DNC won the election for Trump by screwing over Bernie and running that witch Hillary Clinton. Its not complicated folks.

Any chance we could skip the plethora of what-about-Obama, Clinton-did-too, and who-cares posts?

Again. were you concerned that Google and Facebook worked WITH the Obama team to create the most pervasive and intrusive database in history?
