Please....liberals get in touch with reality.... This is not a ban on immigration -- it's a 90 pause of a few terrorist-prone countries until we get can our security vetting in order.
Our intelligence and Homeland Security has repeatedly told us they can't vet these people properly, and ISIS has repeatedly and openly stated they plan on infiltrating their terrorists into the refugees. Stop with the stupid politicizing of our national security, and GET REAL!!

Thank you for posting that. I've seen and read that link many times. I'm comfortable with our vetting process. I don't believe it needs to be changed. I do, however, think more money needs to be invested into expanding ICE so we can enforce the rules we already have on the books.

The bolded is a lie. The fact is that immigration for people from certain countries is temporarily suspended. Liberals should attempt to calm down and see how the new process will work before getting into a hysterical, racist rant. Legal permanent residents will be allowed in after carefully reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This is what any country in the world is permitted to do. Why not the U.S.?

Didn't you guys spent the last year saying not to take him literally? That's your narrative, I didn't vote for the guy in the off chance that our institutions would allow him to do what he said he would. Now here we are, can we expect the eventual total ban of Muslims like he said, or the carpet bombing of middle east like he said, the persecutiong of families of terrorist like he said, or we shouldn't we should pick and choose what he meant because then he is a politician, so your guy is not so special. Either intellectually you can't wrap your head around what's happening or you are who we (progressives) think you are, I think the latter.
FYI that's not a great answer to a question that required substance. LOTS of people say its not good enough. I want to know WHY its not.
The CIA director, FBI director and Director of National Intelligence -- all working under Obama -- said that our vetting wasn't good enough.
If you want to know why they said that, ask them.
They obviously wouldn't have said it if they didn't have good reasons.
