There are a lot of hateful and violent people out there who cannot stand that Trump won fair and square, and is now carrying on with his promises. God bless him and his family. The Secret Service will do a fine job protecting him, no doubt.
Seriously, a pretty large portion of the population, both here and abroad genuinely hate the man at this point. Like literal seething hatred. I know the saying goes if they're hating you're doing something right, but he better be careful.
He'll probably be fine. The Secret Service knows what they're doing and the average American, no matter how much they may disagree or even hate the president still believes the office holds some dignity and that it would be wrong to end the life of someone based on things we don't like about him.

Not true, I have never hated Trump. I just think he is unfit for the job. But when he was elected I was willing to give him a chance and said so in posts on this forum. But this latest move with Bannon is the last straw and I now think he needs to be impeached. Bannon has advocated seditious acts ("tearing down the government") and will move this country too close to fascism. Trump will be putty in Bannon's and Putin's hands, both of whom outsmart Donny boy considerably.
