For the last 8 years they seemed to ignore the fact that America was not founded upon Socialism..

The actions of the so-called "liberals" can best be described as "lowest common denominator citizenship".

They seek to register, pander to, and manipulate any drunk, druggie, dropout, derelict, and dysfunctional they can scrape out of the gutter, so long as they can blame our present discontent on "rich conservatives", and they refuse to recognize, (as do many of the Trumpsters as well) that our "problems" spring mostly from our own unrealistic expectations.

“The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money.”
Alexis de Tocqueville

On November 8, we learned that a (barely-)sufficient portion of the public still isn't that stupid; but the so-called "liberals" are working hard to change that.
